
In late 1961 following his service in the US Navy, Texas born Glen D Hardin was playing piano in Los Angeles’ famed Palomino Club. In 1962 “Glen D” (as he is called) became a member of The Crickets, one of history’s most famous musical groups. In 1969 (along with best friend guitarist James Burton) Hardin joined the Elvis Presley TCB Band as keyboardist and musical arranger/conductor. Louisiana born Burton is one of the most influential musicians in history. His career as a guitarist began at age 14, at 16 he wrote the music for “Suzie-Q” beginning a nine-year run as lead guitarist for Ricky Nelson.
